Getting Started

It’s easy to get going once you have downloaded the Ambit App.

We verify your email address by emailing you a verification code which you then enter into the Ambit App.

A couple of details about yourself and you’re ready to set your organisation up. We ask you for your organisation name so that we can create a unique database where only you have access and only your information is stored. This can take a couple of minutes to make sure everything is set up securely and then you are ready to go!

As soon as your Account is set up we’ll email you so that you can get on with other things in the meantime along with some helpful hints to get you going.

You can add employees or vehicles to the Ambit App by selecting “Add Person” or “Add Vehicle” from the Hamburger menu. We look up vehicle information for you so it’s just a registration you need to enter. Alternatively, as we like to make life as easy as possible, you can email a list of vehicles and employees to us and we’ll set it up for you. More information on this can be found here.

To set up Features, use the hamburger menu, select Features and pick which ones you want to activate. A short description of each can be seen and then activate the feature by switching the toggle to ‘on’.

When you first use the Ambit App you will see a short series of Welcome Tiles to help you navigate around but If you need anything else you can either check out the Help section by tapping on the question mark icon in the bottom left hand corner – or through the hamburger menu – or drop our support team an email at support@ambit-hub.com.
